On June 25th, Perry Ground of Talking Turtle Stories performed some Haudenosaunee (also known as Iroquois) stories for us! He told us about Sky Woman, how bear got a short tail, and coyote and the stars. Perry Ground is an Indigenous Cultural Educator and Storyteller from the Onondaga Nation who likes to tell stories in an energetic and fun way. If you were unable to make it, no fear! I’m sure we will have Perry Ground back at the library some time in the future.
